Practice without an account

Guest practice history and preferences are stored on your device. You do not need an account to use the exercises. Existing guest practice is uploaded only if you sign in and explicitly choose to add it to your account.

When you sign in

Downpick uses Supabase for authentication and cloud storage. It stores your email address and account identifier, exercise history, rep ratings, tempos, playing durations, and preferences. This lets you restore your practice and settings on another device.

Supabase and other service providers process technical information, such as network requests and IP addresses, to deliver and secure the service. Your data may be processed outside your country by those providers. See Supabase’s privacy policy.

Your playing stays yours

Downpick does not upload microphone recordings, sell your practice data, include advertising trackers, or automatically grade your playing. Clean and Messy are ratings you choose.

Syncing, retention, and deletion

Account data is kept so your practice remains available until you delete it. Sign out to stop syncing. Your account’s local history remains on the device so unsynced reps can upload when you return.

Delete account in Settings → Account & sync permanently removes your cloud account and associated practice data, and clears the current device’s account cache. Guest practice is kept separately. Other offline devices may retain local copies until their app data is removed. Technical records and provider backups may remain according to provider retention policies.

This website

We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies to this website. The hosting service processes requests needed to serve and protect it. Hosting access controls, where enabled, may use their own sign-in and session storage.

TestFlight feedback

When you send beta feedback through TestFlight, Apple shares the feedback and relevant testing information with the developer. Review Apple’s TestFlight information before including personal information in a report.
