Using Downpick

Downpick provides guided guitar exercises, a metronome, and tools to record your own practice. Choose tempos and exercises suited to your ability, keep your hands relaxed, and stop if playing becomes uncomfortable. The app does not promise a particular improvement or automatically assess technique.

The beta

TestFlight builds are for testing. Features and exercise content may change, builds can expire, and the service may be interrupted. Keep this in mind when relying on beta practice records. Apple’s TestFlight terms also apply to beta distribution.

Your account

You may practice without an account. If you create one, use an email address you control, keep sign-in codes private, and do not try to access anyone else’s account or interfere with the service. See the privacy page for syncing and deletion details.

App and exercise content

Use the app and its exercises for your own practice. The Downpick name, visual identity, software, and original exercise material remain with their respective rights holders. These terms do not transfer ownership of that material.

Feedback and support

For the invitation-only beta, send questions or feedback through TestFlight → Downpick Test → Send Beta Feedback. The support page covers getting started and common issues.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the app develops. The date above identifies this version. Nothing on this page limits rights you have under applicable law.
